Mmm… Makes me nostalgic, brings me back to a time when I sat in Nick’s backyard taking shots of Barbosa, wondering out loud to anyone with ears, “Hey, who does this Modest Mouse cover?”

After numerous verbal lashing and a drink for that one command, I came to realize that I was actually listening to a Pixies original. I also learned (thanks friends), that I’m an asshole. So there. Now you know, mom. I’m an asshole.

As for Sunday Girl, I like her cover. It doesn’t compare to the original by any means, and if you watch the video you’ll be lulled to sleep by Sunday’s consistently constipated expression. Nevertheless, it’s a sweet sweet licorice roll that makes me want to take a bubble bath and, well, Float On
