So, a Zoonosis is an infectious disease transmitted between species of animals to humans, or from humans to animals. There are over a thousand (Wikipedia). Just clearing that up so you don’t spend too long wondering what a Zoonosis is.

Cut Keys delivers a sort of desperate message from a human infected with a Zoonosis. Through this disease they connect animal to man, bringing to light the basic intrinsic values, the wants and needs embodied by all living beings. “I feel so sick / want to be healthy / want to do something for my species.”
